This motorcycle dry bags comparison brings together eleven rear-luggage options and two backpack-style bags reviewed by 1WAYCAMPING. The useful differences are capacity, access, mounting and the actual water-protection system. A waterproof title alone cannot tell you which bag suits your trip.
Buyer compatibility check: Buyers must independently verify compatibility with their exact vehicle make, model, year and configuration, including racks, accessories and modifications. Confirm loaded dimensions, support, mounting hardware, all weight limits and safe clearance. No bag in this article is a confirmed fit for every motorcycle.

Motorcycle dry bags comparison: rear luggage
These are advertised capacities for the versions reviewed. They are not payload ratings. Expandable ranges refer to different configurations of one bag; they should not be added together.
| Product and links | Capacity | Closure and water-protection information | Key buying check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Giant Loop Rogue review Check Amazon version | 17L | Double-ended roll-top; maker markets coated fabric and welded seams as waterproof | Compact extra compartment; verify both closures and mounting straps |
| CyVaJive review Check Amazon version | 35L | Roll-top PVC bag; listing advertises an inner bag and air valve | Confirm dimensions and branding; pictured logo differs from listing brand |
| Rhinowalk Warrior review Check Amazon version | 40L | Magnetic-assisted roll-top; seller waterproof claim | Link selects 40L even though the original URL text said 65L |
| KEMIMOTO tail bag review Check Amazon version | 40L | PVC; seller advertises IPX6 and four mounting straps | IPX6 claim has not been independently verified |
| OSAH DRYPAK TPU tail bag review Check Amazon version | 40L | Zippered TPU bag with air valve; seller advertises IPX7 | Advertised 20 kg bag capacity does not override vehicle or rack limits |
| HEETA zippered duffel review Check Amazon version | 50L | 500D PVC; top zipper marketed as watertight | Different model from HEETA roll-top bags; verify mounting restraints |
Roll-top and expandable alternatives
| Product and links | Capacity | Closure and water-protection information | Key buying check |

| Rhinowalk expandable tail bag review Check Amazon version | 33–45L | Maker specifies rain cover; Amazon mentions an inner bag | Confirm liner, cover or both; expansion changes support needs |
| Rhinowalk expandable tail bag review Check Amazon version | 40–60L | Water-resistant zippered body with rain cover | Do not treat the body as fully waterproof |

Backpack-style options
These bags serve a different carrying need. Check comfort and movement with riding clothing, and verify a documented mounting arrangement if you intend to carry one on the motorcycle.
| Product | Capacity | Distinctive features | Main limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| NICECNC helmet bag review Check Amazon version | Up to 38L expanded | Rigid shell, backpack/tail-bag options; maker advertises IPX4 and a rain cover | Helmet fit must be measured; rigid shell does not establish crash protection |
| Rhinowalk backpack review Check Amazon version | 26L | Air valve, removable padded laptop sleeve; seller advertises IPX6 | Inflation does not establish impact protection; exact mounting kit not confirmed |
Choose by packing need
A compact extra compartment
The 17L Rogue is worth examining if your main luggage already carries most of the equipment and you want separate storage with access from either end. Measure your intended contents first. It should not be chosen on the assumption that any complete camping setup will fit.
One bag for a moderate clothing load
Compare the 35L CyVaJive and the 40L options after checking your equipment’s packed shape. However, equal liter ratings do not mean equal openings, usable layouts or mounting requirements. For example, the KEMIMOTO, OSAH and Rhinowalk designs deserve separate checks rather than a capacity-only ranking.
Roll-top or zipper access
The Haimont and Rogue illustrate roll-top approaches, while HEETA and OSAH use zipper-based closures. For example, a roll top needs clear folding space; a sealing zipper needs correct closing and maintenance. We have not performed leak tests that would justify naming one design the waterproofing winner.
Occasional additional volume
The three expandable Rhinowalk models offer different size ranges. First, choose the smallest configuration that actually suits your equipment, then check the fully expanded footprint too. Also, expanding the bag changes its shape and restraint needs; it does not increase your rack’s carrying allowance.
Very large outdoor loads
The YOOSURE 110L has the largest advertised volume here. However, its roughly three-foot loaded length is a major fit consideration, especially on a motorcycle. Therefore, consider whether smaller separate bags would make the equipment easier to support, distribute and access.
Do not rank water protection from marketing alone
Seller IP claims in the table have not been independently verified by 1WAYCAMPING. A higher advertised number is not evidence that one bag outperformed another in our testing, because we have not conducted such testing. A rain cover, liner, coated fabric and sealed zipper are also different systems that need different care.
Also, read the linked reviews for unresolved details. In particular, confirm the 33–45L Rhinowalk package’s liner/cover arrangement and keep moisture-sensitive items out of the YOOSURE’s explicitly non-waterproof pocket.
Compare the complete setup
Before buying, ask about empty weight, actual packed dimensions, permitted payload, strap ratings, replacement parts and instructions. Then compare the total cost including any required supports, restraints or inner protection. We have not ranked current prices because offers and package contents change.
Meanwhile, small organizers and crash-bar bags have separate roles. The Wise Owl 5L/10L/20L set can help organize contents inside luggage. The RIDEIRON 5L × 2 pair provides compact supplemental storage. Neither is a direct substitute for a large rear duffel.
How we made this motorcycle dry bags comparison
This is a specification-based comparison of the versions in our linked reviews, using manufacturer pages, Amazon listings and the supplied listing screenshots identified there.
